Dr. Hanumant V. Dambal, President
Dr. Hanumant V. Dambal is the President of Soniya Education Trust. Prior to this, he was the elected Corporator of Hubli-Dharwad Corporation (1990), served as Finance committee member and as the Chairman of Tax Appellate Committee. During 1993-94, Mr. Dambal was the Mayor of Hubli-Dharwad City Corporation and worked for social and environmental development of the city. He was also the Vice-President of All India Mayor's Association.
Between 1998 and 2001, he has served as the Member of Board of Reagents at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad where he worked for the welfare of Farming Community. His other activities include serving as the President of 'Akhila Karnataka Jagratha Brahmin Parishat', Chairman of National Center for Rehabitation of Disabled and Destitutes, Dharwad, President of Citizen's Forum of Hubli-Dharwad (since 1990) and Chairman of Sadhankeri Vidyabhivruddhi Samiti, Dharwad and the President of B.Ed. College affiliated to Karnatak University.
Dr. Dambal’s vision is to create excellent learning atmosphere on the campus and also to foster international collaborations between abroad universities and the SET’s College of Pharmacy, Dharwad for the promotion of higher learning and advanced research.
